Interface[]

There is usually an interface that appears on-screen during any given part of the game.

In the normal world, the top screen shows your character and their surroundings. The bottom screen is a map of the area you are in. At the top, there is a bar with the number of Stickers you have to the left and an option to view recommended stickers (represented by a magnifying glass in an opaque blue circle). In the middle is text that recommends which sticker to get (if you have all the stickers, it instead says "Have fun enjoying your magical life!"). On the bottom left corner of the screen is a black square that is normally empty. It gets filled in with an icon for any charm you buy at the Shop of Wonder, which also has a bar next to it telling you how much longer it'll last. On, the bottom right corner, there is a bar detailing the number of coins (P) you currently have. In quests, the top bar will be different, with the banner not showing Stickers and instead showing the main objective of the episode;

If you pull up the Main Menu, the lower screen interface will contain options that you can tap or select with A. The upper screen will also gain a Mickey-shaped clock detailing the time of day, the current day of the week, and the date, and a banner will pop up with the words "Main Menu" being surrounded by golden-brown arrows. If you choose an option in the menu, the upper screen will be replaced with a spotted background that may show things like your character, materials, or anything that is currently displayed. During some of these options, Y can be pressed for details, and L and R can be used to rotate the camera around an object.

There are 8 main options in the menu: Outfits, Items, Requests (favors and café requests), Recipes, Stickers, Greetings, Albums, and Collection. In the bottom are two other options: Save (to save your game) and Tutorials.

The ballroom dancing segments in the Castle of Dreams utilize a different interface for the lower screen. There are things such as multicolored stars and sliders in the four corners of the screen. The objects must be interacted with in time with the rhythm, such as the stars being tapped once a ring closes around it, and a surface to be dragged against the slider once the signal to do so is there.

Sometimes, during brief events like cutscenes, the lower screen will turn black before returning to normal. In other events like parties, the screen will be blank until the event ends.
