Parties are events that players can host at their cafés. During parties, characters and residents will come to your party and celebrate. Customers who come to the party will eat the food being served and the food will sell out, leaving the player with a bunch of coins at the end.
To host a party, the party gauge must be full. The gauge gradually increases while you sell dishes, but there are ways to make it increase faster such as completing café requests. Once it's full, the player can simply click on "party".
The theme of the party depends on how many theme combos of a certain theme the café has. The more theme combos of one theme, the more likely it is for the party to be that theme. Characters will show up to the party based on the theme. For example, if there are 6 theme combos of the Cinderella theme, the party will be Cinderella themed, and characters from Cinderella will show up. When a character shows up to the party, you have a chance to take photos with them. It is important to acknowledge which characters may show up to your party because there are happy stickers that can be earned for taking photos with certain characters. If there are not enough theme combos for any theme, the party can still be hosted, but there will be no theme or special characters. In Disney Magical World 2, parties now have rankings. Depending on how many theme combo points of the desired theme, the higher the rarity rank. The higher the rank, the more characters can come. The rank has to be at least a silver rank for the party to have a dance show.
In Disney Magical World 2, Dance Shows were added to the parties. In the back of the café, a stage was added where the player character would be able to perform a musical dance performance with the characters at the party. The player could simply walk up to the stage and choose to "start the dance show" and then they could sit back and watch the characters dance, including their character.
