Rarity is a type of ranking that ranks items based on how rare or common they are. All items including furniture, clothing, materials, foods, and more have rarities.
In Disney Magical World 2, parties have rarity rankings depending on how many theme combos/theme combo points the player has of the desired theme. The rarity of the party determines how many characters can come to the party. The party must have a silver ranking in order for there to be the option of a dance show.
The rarity of an item is ranked with an icon of a metallic circle with a sparkle in it. There are four rarity ranks, each represented by a different medal icon.
Icon color | Meaning |
---|---|
Bronze | Common (very easy to find/craft) |
Silver | Uncommon (not too hard but not too easy to find/craft)) |
Gold | Rare (hard to find/craft) |
Purple | Legendary/Special (very hard to find/craft, these items are very special) |
Trivia[]
- The legendary/special items usually tend to belong to the "Precious Items" category of materials. The only materials with that rarity that defy this are the Sorcerer's Medals, which belong under "Other", and the bubbles obtained with the Expert Rod, which are minerals.
- The rarity of an item can also be determined by the sound the item makes when obtained. Common items make a small "dropping" sort of noise when found, uncommon items emit a "sparkly" sound, and rare items and beyond play a triumphant musical sting.
- An item's rarity determines the amount of money (P) you will get if you sell it to Scrooge McDuck in his department store, McDuck's. Common items give you 10 coins each, uncommon items give you 100 coins each, and rare items give you 500 coins each. Legendary/special items can't be sold.
