In Disney Magical World and Disney Magical World 2, You (the player) are the main character! The player character takes on many jobs such as the boss of a café, and a hero to all of the worlds. In Jack's World, the player also takes on the role of a pirate! As a celebrity of Castleton (the land in which they have moved to), they are also the friend of many Disney characters!

In Disney Magical World and Disney Magical World 2, you can create your character's name. You can also customize your character's appearance by either choosing a self-created Mii or using the Disney Magical World avatar customization system. There is a wide variety of looks and appearances for the player character.
